RugCheck alternatives for Solana memecoins

Eight tools that check a new Solana coin, what each one looks at, and where each fits. Anceta is one of them, and this is Anceta's page, so the comparison sticks to what each tool's own site says.

Why people look for an alternative

RugCheck is the scanner most people start with: paste a Solana token address and it returns a score, the holders, the insiders, the markets, the liquidity lockers and a list of the risks it found, free, with an API for builders. Looking for an alternative usually means wanting one of three things it does not set out to do: a different angle on the coin (who is behind it and what their earlier coins did, rather than the token's own settings), the check inside the trading terminal rather than in another tab, or the checks as a data feed. The tools below cover those three.

What each tool looks at

Five angles on a coin, and which of them each tool covers, from its own site. A full cell is an angle the tool is built for, a half cell part of one, an outline none, and a dash an angle its site did not show when read.

The tools, one by one

  • Anceta

    this site

Records the DNA of every new Solana memecoin and shows which past coins it is related to and how they ended.

    Chains
    Solana (pump.fun first)
    You check
Paste a mint in the web app, or the RugUAV Chrome extension on Axiom, padre.gg and GMGN
    It shows
Closest relatives and their outcomes, the creator's record, the launch bundle trace (buyers, funders, what they sold), website and X checks, holders and authorities, a risk score
    Cost
Web app free with an account; Pro paid (instant feed and the extension)

Best for: When you want to know who is behind a coin and what their earlier coins did, before its first minute is over.

  • RugCheck

    Solana

A Solana and Fogo token risk scanner.

    Chains
    Solana, Fogo
    You check
Paste a token address on the site; an API with a key
    It shows
A score, an overview, markets, insiders, holders, lockers and LP, and a list of risks found
    Cost
Reports are free to view; the API needs a key

Best for: The quickest look at the token itself: authorities, holders, liquidity and the risks it lists.

  • Bubblemaps

    multi-chain

A visual on-chain analytics platform: token distribution as bubbles, wallet clusters, fund tracing.

    Chains
Multi-chain (15 listed on its site, Solana among them)
    You check
Its web app; an API and an iframe for other sites
    It shows
Who holds the supply, which holders are connected, how the distribution changed over time
    Cost
    See its site

Best for: When the question is how the supply is spread and which wallets move together.

  • A Solana data API, data streams and a trading terminal.

    Chains
    Solana
    You check
Its terminal, or the API (REST, WebSocket, a TypeScript SDK)
    It shows
A token score from 1 to 10 across 20+ risk factors, in its words: snipers, bundlers, insider wallets, authority status
    Cost
API free tier of 2,500 requests a month; see its site for the rest

Best for: Builders who want the checks as data, and traders who want them inside a terminal.

  • GoPlus Security

    multi-chain

A Web3 security network with a token security API and a browser extension.

    Chains
    Multi-chain
    You check
A token security check page, the API, a browser security extension

30+ checks on the contract and the trade: mint function, ownership, honeypot, taxes, holders, LP lock
    Cost
API free plan; a paid plan on request

Best for: Contract-level checks across chains, and a second opinion on a token's code and trade settings.

  • GMGN

    Solana

    A multi-chain meme trading terminal.

    Chains
    Multi-chain, Solana among them
    You check
Trade from its terminal; its Trenches view lists new, almost bonded and migrated coins
    It shows
The market as it moves, with the terminal's own signals on each coin
    Cost
    A terminal: fees on trades

Best for: When you want to trade and check in the same screen rather than open a separate scanner.

  • DexScreener

    multi-chain

    A multi-chain DEX pair screener.

    Chains
    Multi-chain
    You check
Search a pair or browse trending and new pairs

  • A Solana market and token sniffer.

    Chains
    Solana
    You check
Its site, with trending tokens by hour, day, week and month
    It shows
A market view with trending tokens
    Cost
    See its site

Best for: A Solana-only market view next to a token scan.

How to choose

  • A coin you already found

RugCheck for the token's own settings and risks, Anceta for who is behind it and what their earlier coins did, Bubblemaps for how the supply is spread.

  • Every coin as it appears

A terminal with checks built in (GMGN, Solana Tracker), or your usual terminal with Anceta's RugUAV extension on it.

  • Something you are building

The APIs of RugCheck, Solana Tracker, GoPlus and Bubblemaps.

None of them can tell you that a coin will not rug. Each reports patterns, in the token, in its holders or in its history, and the October 2026 numbers show how fast the patterns resolve: most rugs were over within a minute of launch. Whatever tool you use, the check is worth most before the coin is in front of you. Pattern analysis, not financial advice.
